In this first episode, Reed and I introduce ourselves, compare the very different paths that brought us to the same intersection of Podcasting 2.0, Bitcoin, Nostr, and vibe coding, and explain why we decided to start a show together. I share how a decade of listening to No Agenda pulled me into the Podcasting 2.0 ecosystem, which then led me into Bitcoin, Nostr, and building small tools of my own. Reed tells the mirror-image version of that story: he came in through Bitcoin podcasts, found value-for-value through Fountain, discovered Nostr, and then started building community-focused tools around podcasting and local Bitcoin meetups. From there, we dig into the bigger idea behind the show: using podcasting as the place where open money, open social graphs, and open publishing can actually work together. We talk about Local Bitcoiners as a proof of concept for community-driven podcast features, why boosts and Nostr identity can create higher-signal interactions than traditional social media, and why so much of the future may come from combining tools that already exist rather than inventing everything from scratch. Episode one is our "here’s what we’re building and why" conversation, along with an open invitation for listeners to help shape where it goes next.Find the show on nostr: npub1tjmdpxuwjp4p3p6jjete9lkx6tnu9ytgtjhagsk8df372kdz2trqtdjv95ChadF's npub: npub177fz5zkm87jdmf0we2nz7mm7uc2e7l64uzqrv6rvdrsg8qkrg7yqx0aaq7Reed's npub: npub1xgyjasdztryl9sg6nfdm2wcj0j3qjs03sq7a0an32pg0lr5l6yaqxhgu7sPodcast Index: https://www.podcastindex.orgFountain: https://www.fountain.fm/downloadLocal Bitcoiners: https://localbitcoiners.com/Bowl After Bowl: https://bowlafterbowl.com/Candr Website: https://www.candr.space
