How far down the Bitcoin rabbit hole can you actually go? Author Scott Dedels and Bram Kanstein have gone further than most.

Scott Dedels argues that the money problem is just the shallow end of a much bigger problem with time itself, one he believes is older than fiat and more significant than money. Meanwhile,

Bram Kanstein ( @bramk  ) took over 30 Bitcoiners into the mountains of Colorado for a psychedelic ceremony to explore what lies beyond simply fixing the money.

Rob Wallace sits down with both of them to explore Bitcoin as more than a monetary technology, touching on consciousness, mechanical time, psychedelics, and the spiritual dimension of adopting an absolute, verifiable truth in a world built on manufactured systems. Scott also shares why he believes 2026 could be the year even the most seasoned Bitcoin OGs look back and realize their conviction wasn't as strong as they thought.

Here is what we cover:

• A Bitcoin vibe check heading into the end of 2026, and why conviction gets tested at the bottom

• Why Bitcoin gives people proof that they can think for themselves

• Scott's thesis: fix the clocks, fix civilization, and why the time problem may be bigger than the money problem

• How mechanical time is only 400 years old, and why that matters

• Bitcoin, consciousness, and the idea of a shared, agreed-upon reality

• Why thinking in four-year cycles rehabilitates your ability to plan long-term

• The Dao of Bitcoin: how conviction changes your relationship with the present moment

• Bitcoin as an "economic psychedelic" and what that phrase actually means

• Why Bitcoin functions as an absolute, objective truth unlike anything else in the world

• Bram's bike accident, the ambulance ride, and the lesson it taught him about surrender and reality

• Psychedelics and how they alter the perception of time and expand consciousness

• Why Bitcoiners tend to be more hopeful about the future than people who went down other rabbit holes

• The community and friendships that form once you go deep into Bitcoin

• Inside Bram's "Beyond Bitcoin" psychedelic retreat in Colorado with 30 Bitcoiners

• Why so many people feel alone on their Bitcoin journey, and why they shouldn't
