Chef Tom's humanitarian efforts include a salmon recovery project in Kamchatka, Russia to benefit abandoned children’s shelters and the Heart of America Bus Tour just after 9/11. The tour fostered community communications by sharing meals at fire stations, mosques, churches, community centres and public forums.
