A childhood friend rented out Lawry's in Beverly Hills for his son's 2nd birthday and we got to have a fantastic meal and hang around with some people from my childhood.  Prime Rib was fantastic!  Around that same time we also had a chance to have a meal Broken Spanish DTLA a very upscale restaurant great food, beautiful location but, very bad acoustics.  Unfortunately this place is "closed permanently according to Yelp!.
