Richard Barkham joined CBRE in 2014 as Global Chief Economist and in 2018 he was appointed Senior Economic Advisor. He is based in Dallas and leads a team of 600 researchers worldwide. He holds a PhD in Economics and is the author of two books and numerous academic publications. On apart-time basis he is Senior Fellow and Lecturer in Real Estate at Harvard University and Professor of the Practice at University of North Carolina. He is a Chartered Surveyor, Counsellor of Real Estate and Honorary Professor of the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at The University of London.
