A 101-year-old veteran stationed at Pearl Harbor recalls the aftermath of the attack

Dec. 7 is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, in honor of the WWII attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

On this day in 1941, 2,403 service members and civilians were killed during a Japanese attack on the area.

Tom Foreman is 101 years old, and is a retired U.S. Navy service member who lives in Escondido. Foreman was stationed at Pearl Harbor at the time of the attack. He was out to sea on a ship and returned to witness the devastation.
