She explains, "Literally all my life, I have been involved as a volunteer or board member in these leadership programs, predominately those that invest in girls... and then going into the workplace where we are all battling the same barriers. That's really now, as a mother of two daughters, I can't stop. I mean, I lead the research, but I have to put it into action because that's what matters for for me to thrive but also for my girls to have a bright future."
