Possibly contentious question: what are your feels about the hive blockchain on which posting is built? Podping is an obviously good thing, but this episode got me to wondering how it’s future my be impacted by what you talked about.

I wouldn't be too concerned about this as there does need to be an incentive to work as hard as he can to make an awesome app, but I believe him and Nick have shown their bonafides to the P2.0 mission. I like what Adam Curry has said before, "if anyone comes out of this [P2.0] a billionaire then something has gone wrong". I don't get the impression Oscar is trying to be a billionaire.

Honestly, out of all the apps and messengers that have attempted stories in the past, Signal seems like the least offensive to me. It's the first app to attemp stories, that actually respects user privacy. All the others in the past (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) just seem like they were trying to copy Snapchat and hobble user data. At least with signal, there's a privacy aspect to it. I just don't see the userbase adopting it.

Yes god yes! Clipping needs some love. The book mark is a great idea and I’ve suggested similar things to them in the beta group. When you hit the clip button, it gives you a six minute spread (three minutes to either side of your current time) It would be nice to have a prompt after I hit clip to say if the position I hit is at the end of where I want it or mid clip. Right now it’s a balancing act of trying to get a good chunk of audio. A bit of refinement would go a long way.
