Also, I like this show despite the left wing framing (e.g. women's health clinic vs abortion clinic). It's beneficial in life to be able to listen to and consider ideas you don't necessarily agree with.

I think whatever side of the Isle you're on, you should fear invasive tracking and retroactively applying laws. Today, this change comes from the right, but tomorrow it could come from the left. To be clear, I lean left, but I don't think it matters in this context. The point is personal privacy

100% agree, we must remain ever vigilant against tyrannical goverments and bitcoin can help. Your point is well made.

I was alarmed to learn that one company owns 1/5 the hash rate. I know that decentralised nodes is more important, but aren't there drawbacks to centralised mining? I guess if they did funny business, nodes would throw out their blocks and that would give an opportunity to mine on cheap hardware. I can't think of any reason why its bad, but it leaves me uneasy. I would love your opinion and some more details on this

I like your unlocking the phone privacy argument. I would love the chance to talk to the moronic politicians trying to ban encryption so I can ask them if they really want me seeing their banking login going by in plain text. I hate how privacy is conflated with elicit activity.

You must've missed my boost from June 13th to the first (chapterless) version of "Bitcoin Bill or Altcoin Shills?". I had questions about the number size and effect of the whales. And what if assumptions about Satoshi Nakamoto turn out to be wrong? What if Satoshi's wallet suddenly shows activity? You did read my later boost to the chaptered version thanking you for the chapters. No hard feelings, I know you had issues with boosts. But I am curious as to your thoughts on these questions.

Question... What happens as people die without leaving their keys to anyone, along with the constant stream of accidentally losing keys and otherwise stranding Bitcoin? Are there models estimating "loss" of Bitcoin over time? I'm thinking of this also in relation to Monero's long tail emission.

Sometimes we might disappear because we're temporarily out of SATs. Had problems buying Bitcoin; Strike turned me down (!? no explanation given). I've used moon pay but had to call my bank to get the transaction approved because I'm a US debit card holder and they're based out of Ireland, apparently... I need to figure out this Bisq thing, I guess.

clamav is used, but it is fairly heavy and clumsy scanner, and is mostly used when there is regulation compliance. musmch better approach is zero trust combined with least privilege; if clamav is needed, the game is already lost.
