interesting story about tax status of staking rewards... I remember hearing that fork coins were considered taxable income back in the day. if fork coins are taxable, if yield is taxable, seems staking rewards should be taxable.

your wallet idea doesn't work, once the transaction is broadcast, it's up to the nodes to relay it/miners to build on it. the wallet just reflects the state of the ledger
