In this episode we have an inspirational conversation with Tamika Newhouse, an author, publisher, and founder of Black Writers Weekend.

Tamika discusses her experiences of going from a teen mom to CEO by the age of twenty. She openly shares her trials, overcoming depression, and the importance of healthy boundaries and self-care and deep personal healing. 

There are many accomplishments in her career to date. She has written 17 novels, several reaching the best sellers’ list and is also the winner of 8 African American Literary Awards. In addition, she has a thriving publishing company with nearly 200 titles. Tamika’s profound love of helping the African-American community achieve their dreams and fulfill their potential was the catalyst for the creation of AAMBC Literary Awards and Black Writers Weekend. 

Tamika is a true example of continuing to expand her Pure Entelechy – her Soul essence and elevate her fullest potential.
