It was November 2023 when Julian Figueroa of Kinetic Finance & Get Based TV reached out regarding a secret collaborative project that was to commence in celebration with a new bitcoin epoch, on the dawn of a bitcoin halving. 15 creators came together to bring you 15 Years in Bitcoin, where each of us had a minute to break down a randomly assigned year to reflect on. For me it was 2019, the same year I released the original Bitcoin Slang which kicked off a whole new approach to culture, community art and making music. My Idea was simple, rap about 2019 as if it's a conversation, bring my music attorney into the fold as we reminisce in what could be a lounge, a dimly lit bar or perhaps our own brand new 100 million dollar studio. Regardless, the sonic scape was meant to feel relaxed, paced and 5 star.
