Episode #164.
Solo show. Thoughts and ideas around the Permanence of mental disorder. Is the treatment the reason something lasts a long time. I don't like the idea of saying something will last forever. I am open to feedback? Does saying something will last a long time the same as acceptance and does acceptance mean you just take medication. It is obviously a complicated subject matter because people can get into a real predicament when it comes to mental health. If you lose sleep for any numbers of days or have panic attacks you seek immediate relief and there is no shame in that. However, a lot of social media promotes this idea that the diagnosis will last the rest of your life. It doesn't seem right but I see why people say this. I am not presenting any answers at this time. I am going into new territory and I would like to keep this conversaion going.
