Beyond painting, he made significant contributions to science and technology, with his notebooks revealing advanced ideas in anatomy, optics, and hydraulics. His innovative designs, like the flying machine and armored vehicle, were far ahead of his time. Leonardo's life was characterized by an insatiable curiosity and a relentless pursuit of knowledge, making him a symbol of the Renaissance spirit. He died in 1519 in Amboise, France.
