For 16 great years, Rumi has traditional and upped the ante. The Lebanese/Middle Eastern dishes are so laden with love and exotic flavour that the space is always full with large numbers of enthusiastic diners. Huge international names have found themselves dining there upon the recommendation of local chefs: Anthony Bourdain has visited to enjoy the quail while Renee Redzepi favoured the livers. Chef and founder Joseph Abboud joins Around Town to discuss the history and future of his Brunswick stalwart.
