Welcome to Episode 2, Series 19 of the Walk the Pod daily walking podcast, in which I walk the cycle path in the opposite direction as usual, because I have moved house to the other end.

It's a beautiful blue sky day today, people are walking around in straw hats and jogging happily along.

Join me on this glorious day, enjoying the green all around me and appreciating the last flailing weeks of summer. I'm about to descend into more and more layers until I'm rolling down the road in a gigantic sheepskin coat, but right now it's just beautiful.

The kids went back to school this week, the parents hit the golf clubs and it's lovely to see the kids dashing around in the Wimbledon Chase Primary School playground. Freddy started secondary school this week and is walking himself to school. I share the Mothership's recollections of walking herself to school when she was 5 years old.

Remembering the Chris Evans Radio 1 breakfast show from the '90s as I've been reminiscing with the Breaking Breakfast podcast. Particularly impressed with the Ginger Grand Prix.

I discuss grasping the infinite with the finite, something ChristoffLambyPie was particularly good at.

I walk under a beautiful grapevine, past six sunflowers towards the Kingston Road end of the bike track and see a dragonfly fluttering over the cycle path.
