LISTEN TO THE SHOW:
Grandparents’ Day is coming up this Sunday and sadly, for some kids, it may not be a very enjoyable holiday because they don’t get along with, or even like, one or more of their grandparents.
As moms, we can feel a number of emotions about this from hurt and heartbreak to frustration, disappointment, and guilt.
So, do we try to convince our kids that grandma and grandpa are great, act as a mediator between them, or force them to spend time together?
While there’s no one right answer, in this episode I’ll talk about my own experiences, both as a granddaughter and as a mom, and then offer some thoughts about how to deal with the issue overall.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DISCOVER:
- How your child’s age can impact their current relationship and how that may change in the future
- How to have open and sensitive conversations with your child about their thoughts and feelings towards their grandparents
- How to avoid putting yourself in the middle while still encouraging a positive relationship between both people
