What happens when you are a PBLer and you end up in a traditional teaching environment? What happens when you are the only Project Based Learning teacher in your building?
In this PBL Showcase episode of the PBL Simplified Podcast, we have Britni Pascoe from Indianapolis, Indiana. Britni started at a Project Based Learning school and then moved out of state to a traditional teaching school for two years. Now she has come back to Indianapolis in the same district.
Britni shares a student story of how Project Based Learning helped a kid really get excited about school. In this episode, she and Ryan talk about how she taught Project Based Learning in a traditional environment and how the other teachers became interested in Project Based Learning by Britni’s example. They also talk about the difference between Project Based Learning and a traditional project.
