Jesus encapsulates in these two Commandments today all the wisdom of the world. To love God and to love our neighbor are acts of self-gift, of Agape-style love. That love is what we see on the Cross. And it is this gift of love is what propels us and pushes us forward and into our vocation. 

We have to make the decision to love with Christ's own Crucified Love and to take the next step.
