ABOUT THE GUEST:

Monica Bajaj is a seasoned engineering leader with over 2 decades of industry experience building and scaling global diverse teams across both the consumer and enterprise space. She is currently VP of Engineering at Okta where she leads the developer experience portfolio for their Customer Identity Cloud for developers and SaaS applications.

Monica brings decades of industry experience across various tech industries and has been successful in building global diverse teams and scaling technology across multiple industries.

Prior to Okta, Monica led engineering leadership roles at Workday, UKG, Perforce, and NetApp primarily in the space of Consumer/ Enterprise, Infrastructure, and Security.

Monica earned an M.S. in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai, India. Outside of work, Monica is very active in programs around mentorship, diversity, and uplifting women and young girls. She has won several awards as a Mentor of the Year 2021 award “ and has been recognized as top 60 Women technical leaders by the Girl Geek X Community. She has also served on the board as Technology and Chief Compliance Officer for Women in Localization for their GDPR and Security initiatives. Outside work, Monica enjoys the outdoors, hiking, painting, and the cuisines of the world.
