Recently I feel like we have been making some real progress in my overall self-care and getting on the right track with things.
As I was walking to class though I had these three things come to mind as things I would like my present self to hold on to . I would like this episode to be as if my 30 or 40 year old self was talking to myself now.
This is definitely a more personal episode but I hope it will give some perspective on how I am trying to talk to myself and keep things in a healthy perspective. The hope with sharing this of course is that it will give someone else some help as it has done for me.
I am likely going to be uploading interviews again on this upcoming Monday so I wanted to make this piece of content to help me (and you) as we continue to move forward.
1. You have come a long way - The fruits of my life say that I have been consistent in trying and that is something I need to keep in mind. Obviously there are things that I cannot continue to do because they would be holding me back, but I need to keep in mind that I have come a long way period.
2. You are helping the songbirds sing - The things I have done in my life have helped people who are great people to do more good and those who are struggling to rise up and try again as well. I am able to share messages and provide encouragement that truly helps people and reaches their hearts. I need to keep trying on the things I am doing so I can help those who are also trying.
3. With consistency comes clarity - So much of what I have learned in my life has come because there are some things I have committed to. With consistency in those things has come clarity. That clarity has helped me have more confidence and strength to move on and try new things.
