In this episode we give our thoughts on the recent changes to rare summons, UoC tickets, and so much more!

The changes make summons so much better and give us confidence for the future. They have gone ahead and updated the summon rate of rainbows up to 5% (was 3%), updated the on banner rate to 1.5% (was 1%), and THINNING OUT THE SUMMONING POOL!

Thinning the pool of 5 star units you can get when doing rare summons or banner summons is such a massive change. Now when you see a rainbow, you will feel excited again rather than worried. No more Delita trolling your rainbow crystals, no more worrying which form of Lightning is going to appear. Plus, if you do see a rainbow, there's a much higher chance of getting a unit you want, a unit that will be amazing in today's meta, or a unit you can actually use.

Finally, they've increased the value of UoC tickets and how you can use them. Starting with Aldore King Rain, new 5 star unit Prisms will be UoC-able immediately once the banner is available. So if you get one unit, you can UoC a prism to make it 7 star RIGHT AWAY, and it's less expensive: only costs 8 UoC tickets for 1 Prism. No more waiting 2 weeks to use your new unit.
The last change to UoCs is that you can trade them in for lapis: 1 UoC = 1500 Lapis. This further makes summoning current units accessible, and can get you to that last step of a step up. To celebrate, the first 5 UoCs you trade for lapis right now will be worth 2000 lapis each. That's massive value!

All of these changes compound together to essentially fix many of the issues with summoning units. Higher rates, smaller pools, better ways to use UoC tickets; so many fantastic changes!

We also cover Aldore King Rain and how to use him (its very easy), and Scorn of the Lich, but it's such a straight forward fight there wasn't much to mention. BE CAREFUL OF HIS UNRESISTABLE DEATH. Everything else is exactly what you would expect. Basch with his awakenings does really well in the fight, and Pheonix as an esper is an awesome addition whether its for extra DPS or for the ability to use revive with off units. Finally, units like LM Fina or Rem are amazing as they have great reraise capabilities which can really help against that unresistable death you have to deal with.
