Elli Terwiel represented Canada in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia and was a member of the Canadian National Alpine Ski team. She was the first athlete on the Canadian alpine team to compete on the World Cup circuit while also simultaneously competing on the NCAA circuit. Elli gained her undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of Vermont and a Masters of Management in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Queens University. When not skiing, Elli is helping develop negative-embodied carbon building products and designing low carbon buildings in Berkeley, California.
