This week Tee was delighted to welcome Ania Markiewicz for an enlightening talk about healing your body with the mind. Throughout her life, Ania has been on a quest to discover how to lead a happier, healthier life and to share that knowledge with others. Her parents instilled in her the importance of natural cures and unorthodox therapies from a young age. They surrounded her with energy healers who taught her about the innate capacity for healing that exists in each of us. These experiences inspired her to pursue various modalities to advance her body, mind, and spirit while setting her on a path.
Initially, her goal was to help people feel relaxed through massage, but soon she realized that she wanted to learn more about how the body functions and heals. This led her to study Integrative Manual Therapy - which includes muscles testing and listening to the body’s needs - and explore concepts like chakras, the energy field, and the effects of everyday products on our health. She also realized that looking at the patient as a whole is crucial.
The body, mind, and spirit are intertwined, and treating only the symptoms or one area of the being is not sufficient for achieving true healing. This is why she emphasizes the importance of freeing ourselves from restrictive beliefs, outdated programming, and social conditioning, in addition to treating the physical manifestations of negative emotions stored in our bodies. By treating the patient as a whole, including their mind and spirit, we can achieve optimal health and well-being. As a result, she has made it her life's mission to empower and educate others about their innate ability to heal and live their best lives.
