Bhawna Garg, IAS is the youngest first woman to get the First Rank in All India Civil Services Examination and to continue to hold the top position after professional assessment in LBSNAA
She has held multiple leadership positions within Govt. of India and is currently the Deputy Director General for Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)
Bhawna is a multi-talented all rounder with various awards such as the Director’s Shield for being First in Order of Merit and Gold Medal for best performance in extra- curricular activities during professional training at LBS National Academy of Administration.
She also won the Ratan Swarup Memorial Prize for Excellent All-Round Performance in the Graduating Class in all disciplines of the Undergraduate Programs of study at IIT Kanpur.
She has an undergraduate degree from INdian Institute of Technology , Kanpur and Masters in Public Policy from Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton University, US.
Outside of work she enjoys mountaineering, bird watching, yoga and dance.
