Clinton Rarey is a small business owner and a 4th generation combat veteran who spent 11 months in Afghanistan defusing mines by hand. He is running for the District 1 Austin City Council seat because he is tired of how progressive policies in Austin designed to  address the affordability, public safety, and environmental concerns plaguing the city have only made Austin less affordable, more dangerous, and environmentally hazardous.  In this episode we talked about his background, the challenges he has faced during his campaign, and what he plans to accomplish once he gets elected.
