In May of 2014, 88-year-old Russell and his 87-year-old wife Shirley Dermond were living out their retirement dreams in a beautiful million dollar home located right off of Lake Oconee in Putnam County Georgia.  After not showing up for a party and neighbors being unable to contact them, the neighbors went to check on them and made a grizzly discovery.
