From Jared:
Hey friends, my apologies. The last episode back in July I said I would continue with some short episodes and I did not do that. I return with some updates on talking about what I have been up to. I dive into some personal things and talk about addiction. I hope some of you relate to this and it is a newer revelation for me. I hope my honesty will help you find a way to make connections yourself.
I also share a story about why honesty is important.
3 takeaways:
1. Be honest and tell the truth to others. The start of connection is conversation but be truthful.
2. Find a Support group. Try to find likeminded people that can help you.
3. Ask for help. Asking for help is hard but worth it once you realize you are not alone.
I mention DBSA support groups:

Also nami.org has groups to.
