In his own words: "I suppose I've always had spirit around me from an early age but to be honest I never really knew. Being brought up in a catholic family and being the youngest, a lot of things went by not spoken about. Looking back there were a lot of signs but I never knew how to interpret them. That all changed when my mother died many years after my father passed. Dad passed away in 1990 on the 11th of September so that day was always on my mind for years before the twin towers. Mum had been Ill for many years and it broke my heart to watch her suffer. In the end it was a blessing that she passed. She died on the 22nd of May 2004 and I'm sure my father came to get her."
