Welcome to this week's episode with Sean Andres! Sean is currently a Music Business student at Mansfield University. He started his time at Mansfield as a student of Music Education, but after some time he saw a different path for himself to take in his post-graduation time.  Since learning how to wrap his own mallets in school, Sean thought it would be a cool idea to wrap a whole bunch of mallets for other percussionists, and to sell them their own custom mallets! Then that's exactly what he decided to do.  So after this idea sparked to start his own business selling percussion mallets, he naturally switched over his major and started taking more business courses.  He also really indulged himself in the music business world over this summer by interning at two different music festivals on opposite sides of the country.  One was in Florida, and the second was in Colorado.  After all of that, I can see that Sean is really enjoying what he is doing now, and is very excited for the road that lies ahead of him.  The best part is that he has been finding opportunities around what he has always loved to do, rather than chasing after the money in another space that he doesn't care to be in.  That's one of the coolest things anyone can do.
