Belonging is a feel of acceptance and support and is a basic human need. Truly belonging to yourself is embracing your authentic self.
One of our basic, biological needs is the need to belong. We often act or behave in a certain way to belong to our family, our friends, our community.
How often do we step back and check in if our actions are in alignment with our authentic self?
Our relationship with ourself is the most important one because it impacts every other relationship in our lives. Therefore, belonging to yourself first and foremost is the key to acceptance and happiness.
