Here are some things that characterize the life of a person who enjoys the Holy Spirit…
the Spirit is on them, v. 25
they experience revelation, v. 26
they rely on the Spirit, v. 27
they hear and see the Gospel, v. 27-31
4. The sufficiency of Jesus, v. 32
Notice two things:
a) a light for revelation to the Gentiles
b) for glory to your people Israel
“Some men go to schools for glory, others to the camps of war; in all kinds of places men have sought after honor, but the believer says that Christ is the mine in which he digs for this gold—Christ is the sea in which he fishes for this pearl—he gives up all other searches, and looks for glory in Jesus, and nowhere else.”
