In part three of our, “Friend Goals” series we’re discussing what it takes to be a better friend. We discuss the 13 essentials traits of a good friend and also offer a few practical ways to start being a better homegirl.
When we assess the quality of our friendships it’s likely that we first look at what our friend is or isn’t doing to make feel content within the relationship. We have to remember that relationships are reciprocal and although it’s natural to consider what someone else brings to the table, we should first start with an analysis of our ourselves + our own friendship characteristics if we want to objectively determine the quality of the relationship. If what we’re seeking is better friendships, then we have to be a better friend— like attracts like.
