Prior, she served as the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau Deputy Director. Previously, Mejia built on her experience of running victorious issue advocacy campaigns to serve as Political Director on Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign, which built a massive rank-and-file union support program and galvanized Latino groups across the country. Analilia is a proud Afro-Latina, Jersey girl, and mom of two.
