In the first episode of NW and chill in years i just chatted about some little known real heros from the mid 1500's all the way to the mid 1900's. yasuke and the new anime based off the real stories of the first black samurai, to the slave who taught The Jack Daniels how to distill whiskey using a method he brought all the way from africa, to the bad ass born slave who became a war hero and then a congressman Robert Smalls. So many cool and real stories to tell about black history my new mission is to find and make them.
