Douglas Adams, most famous for writing The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, was an English author, screenwriter, essayist, humorist, satirist and dramatist. He is one of only two non-members of Monty Python to have a writing credit on the show and was an avid defender of wildlife. He also happens to be one of this podcast host's favourite humans.
