Rabbi Rami Shapiro holds a Ph.D. in religious studies and was a congregational rabbi for 20 years. He has since shifted his focus to his own spiritual practice, writing and teaching. Rabbi Rami teaches Comparative Religion, Bible, and Contemporary American Spirituality at Middle Tennessee State and is an award-winning poet, liturgist, and essayist. His books include a series of Rabbi Rami Guides, including guides to God, Psalm 23, Forgiveness and Parenting (Spirituality Health Books.)
