Most of the baseball world right now is focused on the major league season, trying to keep teams safe during the coronavirus pandemic, the Marlins' COVID-19 outbreak. But coronavirus has made its mark on baseball in more ways than this MLB season. One of the most damaging effects of the pandemic on baseball is in the minors -- the cancellation of the entire Minor League Baseball season. Gene Schall is a former major leaguer who spent a couple years playing for the Phillies and then worked for the team as a regional amateur scouting supervisor. Now he's a recruiting specialist at Next College Student Athlete.
