The hopes of His followers died when Jesus died. He was taken from the cross and Joseph of Arimathea wrapped the body of Jesus in a linen shroud and laid him in his own tomb. Mary Magdelene and Mary, the mother of Joses saw where he was laid. The women brought spices so that they could anoint his body. There only thought was "Who can roll away the stone for us?"
