Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is saying that mankind is in this world to earn the next life, and to reach high station in Paradise. Your potential in ahirat is limited if you have to pass through hell. If you are not trying or if you put it off, you will lose the treasure that is for you in Paradise. Many prophets had few or no followers who had no doubt. But the Prophets were telling them the message of ALLAH swt about ahirat.
