Tad Shares his story of alcohol and drug addiction and how it slowly chipped away at his quality of life until he finally hit bottom. He made two runs at recovery and the second one stuck. Tad shares his journey to a place that forced him to ask for help from a higher power and what happened next. His incredible interfacing with law enforcement during a crisis helped save his life and shows the power we have to help each other. Front line workers in prisons, treatment centers and law enforcement will love the validation of this victory over addiction story. Tad is my friend and I am proud of him and the service work he is involved in to make AA work for all of us in the North Texas recovery community. Please listen all the way to the end of this episode to hear Tad explain his side of the story about when our last guest (Gabriel Pimentel episode #5) was released from jail and how he gave him a ride from jail to the 24hour club.
