S4 Ep7: Ep. 64 - Money Matters & Mamba w/ Miki Turner
We dedicate this episode to the memory of Kobe and Gianna Bryant and all the lives lost in the helicopter crash in Calabasas, CA on January 26th, 2020. We'll have a 8 sec. moment of silence this episode in tribute.
In Episode SIXTY FOUR, #teamnilnil gets a new puppy to distract themselves from the exodus of players continuing to leave the Home Team and prepare for the upcoming MLS Fashion Show unveiling the new 2020 kits in the League.
We then devote our 2UP/2DOWN to share our thoughts on the loss of NBA Great Kobe Bryant and his impact on The Culture as well as being a great advocate for the game of soccer in America as well as throughout the world.
As MLS enters its final week before the current labor agreement expires, we interview Sounder at Heart journalist and paralegal Miki Turner to discuss where things stands with CBA negotiation, the demands the MLS Players Association are prioritizing, and if the season is in danger of a work stoppage. We also go into the current lawsuits impacting US Soccer as well as preseason talk for the defending MLS Champs.
The wrap up looks into the Black Invasion of Inter Milan, Goal III, and MORE!!
