The Yankees beat the Rays 2-0 on Tuesday behind six scoreless innings from Gerrit Cole and some sloppy defense from their opponent. It was one of Cole's best starts as a Yankee given his past struggles against the Rays, and Jose Trevino summed up Cole's start nicely by saying, "He did what he's supposed to do."
