John 16:16-24

1. Waiting is a part of the human experience
-John 7:33; 13:33

Two questions to ask ourselves while we are waiting…
a) What is God doing in me?
b) What is God doing through me? 

2. Jesus knew what was coming
-John 10:17-18

3. The disciples did not

4. Because of this we will experience the full range of human emotions

Here are some good questions to ask yourself…
What do you fear is happening?
What do you fear is going to happen?
What do you fear is never going to happen?

Is there anything in your life to which God is saying “in a little while?"
If you realized that God already knows the questions you want to ask, what would that free you up to ask God?
Do you understand what God believes about humanity? 
What does your life feel like these days?
