In this City Update, we talk about renovations underway at City Hall. Upgrades to the Front Lobby, Cape Fear Room and Council Chambers should be complete in November 2021. The first floor renovations approved budget is approximately $1 million. The money will come from the City’s General Fund.

Visitors can access City Hall for appointments during the construction period. Beginning next week, signs outside City Hall will direct you to the Pittman Street entrance. Visitors should wait for appointments in the temporary lobby area.
