The writer of Hebrews continues to discuss the superiority of Jesus by making his case that Jesus is superior to angels, God’s servants and supernatural messengers. Angels were a distraction to the Jewish Christians' devotion and worship of Jesus in AD 65.  Unbelievers in AD 65 needed to be convinced Jesus was more than an angel, more than just a spiritual messenger. The writer of Hebrews makes it clear: He is God. We need to speak that same message to our misguided culture today.
