S3 Ep114: Ep. 114 - Return of The Crew w/ Ty Phillips
In Episode 114, TK & Greggo are joined by Ty Phillips of the 2Cents Sports Team and the Nordecke, a Columbus Crew Supporters' Group.
To open the show we go into the last minute thriller here in ATL by the Home Team, and getting back to the first full capacity environment since the Covid shutdown, and also the opening of FC Cincinnati's new TQL Stadium this past Sunday against Inter Miami and how despite their looks, the Higuain Bros are still cookin' on the pitch.
We then go in this week's main topic, the rebranding of the Columbus Crew, starting with the redesign and renaming to Columbus SC, and then the resolution with fans and supporters made this week to revert to the original Columbus Crew name (and modified logo), and also talk about recent rebrands done in MLS and if they were hits or misses.
After the break, we go into Chelsea's new 2021 kit that was a hit in the streets but got beat on the pitch both in the FA Cup Final as well as the UEFA Women's Champions League Final and for the first time show off the FTC Home Team CVLTURE Scarfs, provided by our homies at Diehard Scarves, and in 2UP/2Down, we talk The Fab Five, post-vax travel, new projects, AND MORE!!
