This week Jane tells us about a bragging murderer, Rickie Tregaskis. He had been acquitted of murder and assault. Thinking he was safe, due to the double jeopardy rule in the UK, he proceeded to brag to several people about how he had gotten away with the murder. Unfortunately for him but fortunately for the victims, the double jeopardy rule changed in the UK and he was convicted decades later of the murder and assault.
Deklan tells us about a tsunami and flood that occurred in Boston in 1919. This wasn't any average flood though. Millions of gallons of dark and sticky molasses suddenly rushed through the streets trapping and killing several people in the wake. It brought down buildings and caused a class action lawsuit.
We also enjoy the Jersey Devil cocktail.
