“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” More than a general definition of faith, this often-quoted verse is linked to a specific promise of God. He has a future home for us, “an unshakable realm,” according to one scholar. And when we receive this promise we will find our Savior waiting to wrap us up in His great embrace. Until then, this certain hope is the fuel to endure this temporary home and live by faith to the great embrace.
