Hello, friends in Relatives!
In this special episode, we have Senator RedDawn Foster from S. Dakota and Mr. A. Agoyo with Indianz.com on a Panel to listen and discuss Food Deserts in Native Communities.
What makes this episode so special is we had multiple speakers on stage from Alaska to Florida sharing stories and most importantly why there are still Food Deserts in their communities.
Food insecurity is uncertain access to healthy, affordable food for true nourishment. Reservation food deserts are devoid of fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy foods.
Listen to some of their heartfelt stories and some of the solutions/actions members are taking in their communities.
Thank you for listening. ~ Pete
